Social media, with all of it's drama, can often be the place of great revelation. Recently, I had the pleasure of participating in a "wedding" discussion. One poster questioned how many couples spend time in counseling prior to the marriage. As a wedding professional, it is really important that my clients take time to to care for their relationship before marriage. I am a firm believer that pre-marital counseling would noticably affect the state and satisfaction of marriages in our communities today.
The wedding industry is a multi-billion dollar per year business. I wonder what would happen for marriages if billions of dollars were spent to prepare couples for marriage or help maintain marriages as they battle the hustle and bustle of everyday life?
