Love, Laughter, and EVERYTHING in Between: Day 9- "Sweetheart Seating"

Alone time for the bride and groom is hard to come by at weddings.  Having a sweetheart table will allow you and your man to share a some special intimate moments. Check out some pretty fancy seating ideas.

Love, Laughter and EVERYTHING in Between: Day 2: Tablescapes!

It's the holiday season and anyone that knows me knows that I enjoy having people over, feeding them and making sure it's an overall fabulous experience. One way I try and make the atmosphere special is in the simple details. It's the Simply Peaceful things and having a nice table sets the tone for a truly wonderful evening.

You may be feeling like you can't do it but tablescapes aren't as difficult as you may think. Get yourself some chargers, nice crisp linen, a few candles and you're well on our way. Don't be afraid of color and by all means, do NOT use plastic (smile) …

Inspiration - Tablescapes

What is a Tablescape? Tablescapes are basically creatively designed table arrangements or centerpieces that showcase or highlight a specific object or collection and allows people to express their creative side by adding a personal touch. This is one of my favorite design elements of an event.

The photographs below are from a charity event at the St. Regis Atlanta planned by A Legendary Event and photographed by Artstar Photography.

I love how the chocolate brown sets the foundation and the pink and fuscia add a pop of color. What I especially love is the use of vases and glass which gives the illusion of more!!!
